Open European Shogi Blitz Championship

European Shogi Championship (ESC)
- participation of 32 best European shogi players – according to ELO July 1, 2015 (those present before the start of the first round)
- 5 rounds by predetermined knock-out system (in 1st round: 1st against 32nd, 2nd against 31st etc.)
- as soon as an ESC participant loses during first 3 rounds, he will drop to the WOSC (keeping points scored in the ESC)
- winners of ESC round 4 will play the ESC finals, the losers will play for the third place
- all players participate in the WOSC during rounds 6-8
- 2 x 45 min. + 40s byoyomi, without handicap
World Open Shogi Championship (WOSC)
- participation of players without age and performance limitations
- 9 rounds by Swiss system
- 45 min. + 40s with byoyomi, without handicap
Prizes for ESC and WOSC: cups and material prizes

Roosevelt´s University Residence Hall** (4km from the playing hall, public transport connection)

Board-meals:
- lunches per 8 EUR (smorgasbord + water) at the Olympik hotel

The parking place is situated directly next to the Olympik hotel, the price for participants of our festival is 4 EUR / day and 2,5 EUR / less than 5 h.
Transport connection: The hotel is situated near the city centre (4 metro stations) at a distance of ca. 100 m from the metro station, line B “Invalidovna”

Late registration is possible with an extra fee 10 EUR but the organizer guarantees complete range of accommodation by 30th June.
