Visit of ECU president Zurab Azmaiparashvili and minister Jan Mladek

President of the ECU Zurab Azmaiparashvili and Czech minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mladek both visited the championship today.
Mr. Azmaiparashvili will stay at the championship till the very end and will personally congratulate the winners. Mr. Mladek was able to find a short window in his busy schedule to soak up the atmosphere of the championship.
Since Mr. Mladek is a recreational chess player, he couldn't miss the opportunity to challenge a former top grandmaster, so he and Mr. Azmaiparashvili played a friendly game. The game ended in friendly manner as well - with a draw.
